Overview


We're looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team, specialising in kitchen and bathroom refurbishments within the social housing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting related to construction projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to projects while ensuring financial efficiency and contractual compliance. The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of cost management within the construction industry.

What you'll do:

Raise and manage purchase orders for refurbishment jobs Monitor and control costs on each project Assist with valuations, invoices, and payment applications Support with tendering new jobs - preparing documents and analysing supplier quotes Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and housing partners
What we're looking for:

Strong numerical and organisational skills Good communication and Excel skills Previous experience working in the social housing sector
Relevant professional qualification such as MRICS or equivalent is highly desirable. This role provides a dynamic environment where your expertise in cost control will directly impact the success of our projects while offering opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

We are relocating to Attenborough within the coming months so you we will be based from here in the future.



Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
