We are seeking a quantity surveyor on behalf of a well-established roofing and construction contractor based in

Cannock

Role Overview

As a

Roofing Quantity Surveyor

, you will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing valuations, overseeing procurement, assessing variations, and ensuring commercial efficiency across multiple roofing contracts. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work within a dynamic project team.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 5+ years' experience

working as a Quantity Surveyor within the

construction industry

BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying

or equivalent recognised qualification Experience working on roofing, cladding, or building envelope packages (preferred, but not essential) Strong understanding of commercial processes, cost control, contracts (JCT), valuations, and tendering Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Confident in client communication, reporting, and negotiation

Location

Based in

Cannock

Travel to site as required (local and regional)
