A leading specialist in high-quality joinery, bespoke manufacturing, and interior fit-out solutions is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This long-established contractor delivers projects across commercial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sectors, with a strong reputation for craftsmanship, technical capability, and client service.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will take full commercial responsibility across a range of joinery and fit-out projects, ensuring cost control, accurate reporting, and strong financial performance. You will work closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to support projects from tender stage through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full commercial lifecycle of joinery and fit-out projects
Prepare bills of quantities, estimates, and tender documentation
Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration
Produce valuations, cost reports, CVRs, and monthly commercial updates
Monitor project progress, budget performance, and risk mitigation
Provide accurate forecasting and ensure strong cashflow management
Build effective working relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
Support continuous improvement across commercial processes and project delivery
About You
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within joinery, interiors, fit-out, or construction
Strong understanding of commercial management, cost control, and reporting
Confident in client communication and subcontractor negotiation
Ability to work independently while being an active part of a wider project team
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and analytical skills
Commitment to delivering high-quality work and contributing to business growth
