Senior Quantity Surveyor - High-End Residential Construction

We are a specialist construction contractor delivering
high-end residential projects
, including luxury new builds, extensions, refurbishments, and listed building restorations. We provide comprehensive Design and Build solutions and Main Contracting services, creating exceptional homes for premium clients in London and the Home Counties.
Due to ongoing expansion and a strong pipeline of prestigious projects, we are looking for an experienced
Senior Quantity Surveyor
to strengthen our commercial team.
Key Responsibilities:
Full cost management and commercial oversight on multiple high-value residential projects (5m+)
Preparation and analysis of tenders, budgets, cost plans, and interim valuations
Managing variations, change orders, and final accounts
Subcontractor procurement, package management, and supply chain negotiation
Risk assessment, value engineering, and cost forecasting
Monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations), financial reporting, and cash flow management
Contract administration under JCT forms of contract
Client liaison, progress meetings, and stakeholder management
Requirements and Skills:
Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) - RICS accredited preferred
Proven track record on high-end residential or luxury construction projects valued 5m+
Strong expertise in JCT contracts, cost control, and procurement
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Conquest, or similar)
Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior team members
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
