Role Overview

As a

Quantity Surveyor

, you'll take ownership of projects from inception to completion, including:


Managing cost planning, procurement, and contract administration for live projects ranging from

5m to 50m

. Supporting the delivery of landmark schemes such as: + A new

Performing Arts Theatre in Andover (30m)

. + A first-of-its-kind

Oncology Treatment & Wellness Centre (30m+)

.
+ A

SEND school expansion

for a local authority client.
Overseeing budgeting, value engineering, and cost control to ensure commercial success. Preparing detailed reports, forecasts, and risk assessments. Developing strong client and stakeholder relationships across the region.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:


2+ years of PQS / consultancy experience (client-side or cost management).

MRICS

or working toward chartered status. Strong technical understanding of construction methodology, procurement, and cost control. Experience working under

JCT

and

NEC

contract frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing clients and consultants. Proficiency in

Microsoft 365

and cost management tools (e.g., CostX, CADMeasure, iTWO). Ambition to progress into senior roles and lead major projects.
