Quantity Surveyor

to join a well-established contractor delivering projects across

rail, highways and utilities

Based from the

Falmer, Brighton office

, this role offers exposure to a diverse and secure workload across

Kent, Sussex and Hampshire

, with long-term project stability and a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial management of rail, highways and utilities projects. Preparation of cost plans, valuations, CVRs and financial forecasts. Subcontract procurement, tender evaluation and contract administration. Management of variations, change control and risk. Ensuring commercial compliance with project and contract requirements. Working closely with Project Managers and site teams to support delivery. Liaison with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within

rail, highways, utilities or civil engineering

. Strong commercial and contractual knowledge. Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Competent with commercial reporting and cost control systems.
