Job Title: R&D Scientist

Location: Slough, UK

Contract: 12 Months

Hours: 37.5H P/W - hybrid

Salary: \xc3\x82\xc2\xa320 per hour - inside IR35 via Umbrella

i-pharm consulting is working with a global pharmaceutical company who are a preferred global partner to the pharmaceutical, biotech and nutrition markets. They focus on enabling treatments that prevent illness and support healthier lifestyles and optimize scientific innovation and manufacturing technology to enable our customers to serve their patients and consumers. We are looking for a R&D scientist to join them in their site in Slough.

Description:

• To contribute to scientific projects by generating and documenting data from experimental work, progressively taking ownership of the laboratory environment as experience and seniority increases.

• To perform experimental work with minimal supervision

*To plan and complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe

• To collate data, sign off routine assays and prepare data tables
• To participate in trouble shooting investigations as required
• Understand and comply with company, regulatory and statutory requirements
• To perform laboratory housekeeping, perform routine instrument maintenance and reagent/consumable stock checks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education:

A level, HND or equivalent (Field of study: Biologics)

Work experience:

Experience of analytical methods (Advanced)

Skills:

• HPLC
• Mass Spec
• ELISA
• Cell culture
• Potency assays
• Data analysis (practical use of Excel)
