Windsor Lawn Tennis Club is offering fantastic opportunities for?enthusiastic?and/or?experienced?Reception/bar staff, who are interested in developing?their?customer service and?administration skills.

The Club was founded in 1901. It is very much a "player's" tennis club and has a long-established reputation?as a friendly club. It has a membership of 700+ Adults and Juniors. Its well-maintained tennis courts continue to attract the Province's best players, resulting in participation and successes at local, national and international level. The club offers facilities for Squash, Bridge and Gym members. In addition, there will soon be a new Padel court available for members.? Its facilities, including function rooms in the clubhouse, are also available for Private Hire.

The Club is currently seeking to recruit permanent members of staff to cover both reception and bar duties. We are looking for team players, who are friendly and enthusiastic, with good customer skills, to provide a high-quality service to our tennis club members and visitors. The job includes carrying out a range of administrative functions.

The Club is open 7 days a week and in the evenings, up to 11.00pm. Currently there are vacancies for morning, afternoon and evening shifts up to 28 hours a week, with the expectation that this will increase to 37 hours in the near future. There is also the potential for additional hours to cover late night events, staff holidays etc. While the job may be attractive to a person seeking a full-time post consideration may be given to suitable candidates who wish to work fewer shifts.

A key requirement for the job will be the ability to work flexible hours. Also essential is the ability to work alone without supervision. This includes responsibility for opening and closing the Club.

Experience of working on reception and/or a bar is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided. However, experience of working in a customer-facing environment is a key requirement.
