Are you looking to start a NHS career? We have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a Receptionist / Office Clerk to join the Hammerton Court reception team, based at the Julian Hospital, supporting the Older Person's Inpatient Wards within the Central Norfolk Locality.



The successful candidates will build experience working in administration in a supportive and friendly team.



This is a substantive part time position.



We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and friendly receptionist/office clerk to support the changing needs and demands of our inpatient wards which will include a variety of administrative functions.

Main duties of the job




The successful candidate will need to demonstrate exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with an emphasis on team work. Providing positive service user / carer experience is pivotal to this role.



Duties will include, but not be limited to:


Call handling, face to face liaison with service users, carers and colleagues alike, and other general administrative reception/office duties. Previous experience of Trust IT system (Lorenzo) would be of benefit but not essential as all training will be provided. Previous experience of Microsoft packages is desirable Resilience to support in an administrative capacity to distressing / upsetting situations ensuring the best care to our service users / carers and families. Ability to remain calm under pressure within a reception environment.

We are recruiting to 0.4 WTE Substantive Receptionist post 15 hours per week - Thursday and Friday 9am-5pm We have free on-site parking at the Julian Hospital.
