Join Our Team as a Recovery and Opportunity Coordinator in Mental Health Supported Accommodation

We\'re seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Recovery and Opportunity Coordinator (ROC). In this role, you will play a vital role in facilitating an in-house program that is rooted in group dynamics and is psychologically informed.

Your mission: to empower residents with the tools they need to lead fulfilling lives outside the confines of traditional services.

About the Role

As a Recovery and Opportunity Coordinator, you\'ll be the driving force behind a psychologically informed program designed to enhance residents\' opportunities and well-being. Grounded in the principles of group work, you\'ll orchestrate a diverse range of sessions that foster interpersonal skills, self-confidence, social engagement, and community. Your collaborative approach will extend beyond our doors, as you work alongside the wider ROC team to co-create enriching social activities, cultivate group work practices, and nurture supportive communities.

What You\'ll Do

Program Leadership

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our hostel\'s programs in Wandsworth. You\'ll be at the forefront of crafting engaging sessions, aligning with the broader ROC team to exchange insights, and co-developing innovative content that drives positive change.

Co-Production Champion

Our Opportunities Programme is all about connection and transformation. You\'ll have a pivotal role in co-producing groups that span the creative arts, talking therapies, nature exploration, music, and sports. You\'ll not only guide clients toward these opportunities but also take the lead in collaborating with our core housing support team and local community services to cultivate new avenues for growth.

Empowerment Facilitator

Your role isn\'t just about sessions; it\'s about fostering lasting change. You\'ll share your expertise to empower colleagues, enabling them to confidently facilitate their own groups and create a ripple effect of positive impact. Your creative, analytical, and person-centred approach will guide you in aligning with a strengths and recovery model.

Our attractive benefits package includes:
  • A salary increase after successfully completing six month\'s probationary period
  • A 37.5 hour working week including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am \xe2\x80\x93 4pm) in non-accommodation services
