ESP is seeking a pro-active Internal Recruitment & HR Officer with full cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring the best employees. This role is to offer support to the Talent Acquisition Partner & HR team. Will also be required to provide admin support such as issuing contracts, sending references, liaising with all staff, HR letters and correspondence.
Key Accountabilities
Headhunt, source and recruit candidates by using a variety of tools including LinkedIn, job boards & direct approach.
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board.
Screen candidates resumes and job applications.
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools to filter candidates within schedule.
Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitudes.
Monitor and apply Human Resources recruiting best practices.
Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selections process.
Promote company's reputation as "best place to work".
Provide administration support to the HR team.
Person Specification
High level of confidentiality and discretion.
Proven work experience as a Recruiter at senior levels ideally working in-house.
Experience in Utilities is highly desirable
Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews.
Hands on experience with various selection processes
Familiarity with HR databases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong decision-making skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Self-starter.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
Please note this role is a fixed term contract until the end of April 2026. You must be willing to work onsite full time & therefor live within a commutable distance of Leatherhead, Surrey.
