Pay

: We have an excellent pay rate of 45,000 to 56,000 per year depending on experience,

Contract:

Full time permanent contract.

The role

: The postholder will have demonstrable experience at a senior clinician level as they will be working as an autonomous practitioner providing advanced expert clinical nursing practice in relation to reducing Restrictive Practice.

They will be working with multi-professional teams, providing expert advice regarding service users with highly complex needs, providing highly developed and expert nursing skills within their area of clinical expertise.

Ideally the postholder will also deliver Positive and Safe training, and will also be responsible for development, implementation and monitoring of our Reducing Restrictive Practice plan.

You will be responsible for all aspects of security - physical, relational and procedural - and will investigate serious incidents, ensuring relevant lessons are learnt. You'll work as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team and will report the outcomes of your work to relevant governance committees on a regular basis.

The post holder will be expected to present and feedback to the Board on identified company objectives and projects.

Aim of this role:



You'll lead a comprehensive programme of interventions designed to reduce the use of restrictive practices to an absolute minimum. You will join the Nursing and Quality Team and work closely with the Service Manager and Clinical Director to deliver on a key company priorities: reducing restrictive practices such as restraint, rapid tranquilisation, enhanced observations and blanket restrictions. The successful candidate will report to the Service Manager and will be responsible for leading and developing a least restrictive, person-centred culture, evidenced based practice and for setting, maintaining and developing professional standards for nurses. The postholder will support young people who have highly complex needs and require specialist input, working as an autonomous practitioner providing advanced expert clinical nursing practice. They will manage the Positive and Safe team and provide supervision and management support to the reducing restrictive practice practitioner.

Aaban Partnership Ltd has two CQC regulated bespoke built 10 bedded units offering Assessment, Stabilisation, treatment, and intervention for young people aged 8 -18 years. Providence Unit (Assessment and Stabilisation Unit) and Moira Unit (Treatment and Intervention Unit) are both open and operational and we require passionate, committed, hard-working healthcare support workers to work as part of our team..
