Regional/Operations Manager - Care Homes

We are looking to recruit a Regional/Operations Manager to work with a portfolio of elderly residential and nursing care homes located across Edinburgh, Loanhead, Haddington, The Scottish Borders, Kilmarnock and Troon. Our care services are classed as small/medium in size boasting excellent reputations with local services CI and within their communities.

Key Accountabilities:



Support the Registered Managers to achieve a successful service in quality of care, recruitment of staff, follow internal policies and procedure relating positive recognition with Care Inspectorate. Ensure care services are compliant with Care Inspectorate and local services including, Health & Safety and Care Quality standards through robust audit and effective leadership and guidance. Support Registered Managers in all aspects of their role and ensuring they are continually assessing the needs of the residents in line with contracts and service specifications. Support the Registered Manager to undertake workforce planning to anticipate team turnover, maternity leave, occupancy, and service changes. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with regulators, outside professionals and other appropriate agencies. Support the management of financial affairs of the service in accordance with company policies. Provide strong leadership across all services ensuring the efficient and economical of resources available.

Skills / Experience:



Experience working as a Regional/Area/Operations Manager or an experienced Registered Care Home Manager looking for career progression A proven track record of delivering high-quality care demonstrated through the Care Inspectorate. Strong leadership skills. Comprehensive knowledge of regulation and legislation in a care home environment. An understanding of employment law and HR process is desirable.
