We operate 7 sites- total of 180 beds- 90% social care funded with a mix of nursing, mental health nursing, residential, dementia and mental health residential care- located in Newcastle, South Shields, Norton, Northallerton, Burnley and Rugeley

Key Points:
Exciting New Position being created to join the senior management team of a family run business operating 7 small-medium size nursing/care homes (circa 20 years) across the UK- in the North East and North West of England. You will directly alongside the Group Operations Director, CEO, Financial Director and home managers.
Responsible for working and reporting closely with the directors and overseeing responsibility and targets met for all homes.
You will be helping to create and solidify a new unifying brand for all homes- driving the mission statement of the group and promoting the brand.
Delivering F2F training and help deliver robust induction and ensure the mission statement of the company is lived and breathed
Crisis Management- work with the nominated individual and directors for any crisis situations and introduce processes to mitigate risks including peripatetic support
Help adopt best research into practice to improve the clinical outcomes of our residents and promote the "Leading" in "Caring and Leading"
Sourcing and liaising with contractors to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of projects
Ensure full implementation of electronic care planning systems- Care Control System
Monitor regulatory quality ratings and adopt internal single assessment framework assessments.
Review and direct actions as necessary to continually improve ratings. Implement plans to tackle underperformance and assist managers in reaching compliance.
Ensure all governance targets are being met for CQC and Council Inspections with aim for all homes to achieve Good/Outstanding
Monitor service quality across all care floors in the region, analysing quality metrics and conducting quality audits.
Must have extensive experience working as a home manager/regional manager/operations manager

Responsibilities
Meet managers on site and work with directors and NI and managers to ensure all areas of compliance are being met- to ensure home would achieve a minimum of Good/ Outstanding
You will lead, motivate and inspire your teams to ensure the care you are delivering is of the highest quality, exceeding the internal quality expectations as well as those of the CQC
Help to roll out electronic care plans
The criteria to be successful in applying for this role:
You'll have a strong background in working with Dementia in the elderly care sector at Home Manager level with a good CQC track record
A dynamic, confident and innovative leader with good networking skills and the ability to manage a team with an open, approachable personality
You will have good longevity & experience of working in care homes for Older People and or mental health.
