Full time - permanent




Up to 66,000 per annum dependant on experience plus up to 4000 bonus scheme




At Dovehaven, we are a family run care group providing quality residential and nursing care for the elderly. We have been providing quality care for our residents for over 30 years and pride ourselves on the happy, welcoming atmosphere in all of our homes. Dovehaven provide a full range of care for residential and nursing needs, for both long term and respite periods.


An exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse Manager has arisen at Manchester House in Southport.


Manchester House Nursing home accommodates up to 67 service users including young, physically disabled residents and elderly residents.



Manchester House is a beautifully restored Victorian Villa, that overlooks Hesketh Park in Southport, offering the perfect backdrop for the exceptional care that we deliver. Our experienced and dedicated nursing team provides specialist care that is truly second to none.


We are currently looking for a caring, organised and experienced Manager for this role.


Duties and Responsibilities:




Managing and developing high quality services for all our residents

Developing and guiding the team of staff.

Encourage and instill a culture of care and continuous improvement across the service

Actively working with staff, residents and their families, to help shape and develop a centre of excellence for person-centred care.

The promotion of high standards of nursing care, following CQC and NMC guidelines, by ensuring all staff are managed appropriately and the Home runs in a smooth and efficient manner.

Skills and Experience:




Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised

Dependable and honest

Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the Home.

Demonstrate a track record in leading, motivating, managing and developing staff.

A clear understanding of leadership responsibilities in social care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential Skills:




Proven management experience within the sector

RGN/RMN qualified with active NMC Pin

Experience of leadership and mentoring staff

An enhanced DBS certificate is required for this role
