Are you a passionate and experienced leader in children's residential care?
We are currently seeking a dedicated
Registered Manager
to join a well-established children's home in
Dudley
with immediate effect. As a Registered Manager, you will lead a team in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive and develop.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated team of care staff to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
Work in partnership with social services, families, and external agencies to promote the well-being and development of the children.
Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resources to maintain high standards of care.
Implement and monitor care plans, ensuring they are tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Provide regular supervision and support to staff to foster a positive, supportive working environment.
Essential Requirements:
Level 5 NVQ in Residential Childcare
(or working towards).
Proven experience in a management or leadership role within children's residential care.
In-depth knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support, and develop a team.
A commitment to delivering the highest standards of care.
Full driving license and access to a vehicle (required for travel and to support with transportation of children if necessary).
Desirable Skills:
Previous experience with children who have complex needs or challenging behaviours.
