Job Description

Join a residential care home for the elderly. Part of the multi award winning including employer of the year Manor Community, providing person-centred, rehabilitative care and support to help people achieve their goals and aspirations.

Core Responsibilities:



Managing an established team of 25 care and support workers in a dynamic environment. Applying your managerial and previous person-centred care experience to ensure a smooth operational running of the home. Developing and further training your team to achieve their potential, in a way that is effective and responsive to each customers needs and in line with the Manor Community values. Support each resident to live their life the way that they choose as far as they are able.

Essential Criteria:



Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or currently working towards) Experience as a Registered Manager, confident with the daily tasks of running the home efficiently and to a high standard. Able to work independently and in a team, with the confidence to manage self-development in an interchanging environment. Previous experience of Managing a Care Home within health and social care is essential. Elderly Care experience, either in the community or in a home setting is essential. Completed NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care. Working towards or hold the registration as required by CQC. In-depth understanding of CQC regulations and care standards Right to work in the UK and a clean enhanced DBS A full clean UK driving licence is essential, but having your own vehicle is not applicable as a company car can be provided.
