Registered Manager - Solo Bedded Children's Home (EBD)

Salary: 60,000 per annum
5,000 Registration Bonus
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a new solo bedded children's residential home in Knowsley, supporting one young person with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional with a proven track record in managing children's homes, who is passionate about delivering high-quality, child-centred care and achieving outstanding outcomes.
As the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in the home's development and operation, ensuring it meets all regulatory requirements and provides a safe, nurturing, and stable environment for the young person in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead on the successful registration and operational setup of the new solo EBD home
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, legislation, and safeguarding standards
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional care
Oversee all aspects of the home's day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance
Drive continuous improvement and achieve the highest possible standards of care and outcomes
Ensure a therapeutic, child-focused approach to support the young person's individual needs and care plan

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting
Experience of working with children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
In-depth knowledge of legislation, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted frameworks
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Strong leadership and operational management skills
A commitment to achieving excellence in care and compliance
