About MSA Supported Living
MSA Supported Living is a CQC-registered provider specialising in high-quality supported living for adults with learning disabilities and autism. We are fully commissioned and part of the Bradford Council Supported Living Framework, giving us long-term stability and strong professional partnerships.
We currently operate one fully operational service in Riddlesden with 3 residents, which is already delivering excellent outcomes. We are now expanding with a second brand-new service for 8 residents, opening June/July 2026, located only a short walking distance away.
Both services support individuals with lower to medium needs, focusing on independence, skill development and community involvement.
You will be supported by a highly experienced Senior Manager / Nominated Individual.
The Role
We are seeking a CQC Registered Manager to lead both Riddlesden services.
This role is suitable for:
An experienced Registered Manager, OR
A strong Deputy/Assistant Manager ready to progress to registration with full support.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Compliance
Become (or work towards becoming) the CQC Registered Manager for both services.
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and the Single Assessment Framework.
Lead the development, implementation and review of policies, procedures and quality standards.
Carry out audits (medication, health & safety, care plans, incidents, reports) and implement improvement actions.
Safeguarding & Risk Management
Act as the Safeguarding Lead for both services.
Manage safeguarding referrals, investigations and learning outcomes.
Ensure all staff understand and follow safeguarding procedures.
Complete and regularly update risk assessments for individuals, the service and the environment.
Care Plans & Documentation
Oversee creation and updating of person-centred support plans, behaviour plans and communication profiles.
Ensure reviews occur at required intervals (monthly, quarterly, annually).
Lead on goal-setting, independence plans and outcome-focused documentation.
Ensure records meet CQC and local authority requirements.
Multi-Disciplinary Working (MDT)
Attend and lead MDT meetings with social workers, community nurses, psychologists, OTs and commissioners.
Coordinate support around clinical recommendations and actions agreed at MDTs.
Maintain strong communication pathways with families and external professionals.
Staff Leadership
Lead, supervise and develop staff teams across both services.
Manage training compliance, performance, appraisals and rota planning.
Promote a positive, supportive and empowering staff culture.
Recruit, induct and mentor new team members.
Operational & Service Development
Support safe transition and onboarding of new residents into both services.
Ensure the service environment remains safe, well-maintained and welcoming.
Drive continuous quality improvement across both sites.
Represent MSA at professional meetings, reviews and local authority forums.
About You
Essential:
Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.
Experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or senior role in social care.
Strong understanding of supported living regulations, safeguarding and the Mental Capacity Act.
Confident in writing and reviewing care plans, risk assessments and positive behaviour support strategies.
Experience attending or leading MDT meetings.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage two services located close together.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care OR currently working towards it
(ESSENTIAL).
Desirable:
Prior experience as a CQC Registered Manager.
Experience opening or setting up new services.
