Role Description
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and experienced nurse who provides the highest standards of care to join our team.This is a full-time, on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Registered Nurse will provide top-quality patient care, working closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to support minimally-invasive procedures and diagnostics.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver clinical excellence and must demonstrate knowledge of gastroenterology, colorectal and endocrinology conditions. Responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment, administering medications, Preparing the treatment room/equipment and providing specialist assistance to the clinicians as required, Fully document all aspects of patient care and maintain accurate records and documentation,
Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, Undertake extended roles such as IV cannulation, wound care, patient education, staff training and development, Driving continuous improvement of the performance and quality of care of the centre, Support the Centre Director in facilitating communication and problem solving, establishing effective working relationships between clinicians and centre staff to develop a culture of continuous improvement that focusses on clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. The Registered Nurse will also ensure adherence to clinical protocols and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience & Qualifications
Qualified experienced Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
Previous experience within a GI/Colo-rectal/Gastroenterology/Surgical setting (essential)
ILS certification (essential)
