We're looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (or soon?to?qualify SVN) to join our friendly, forward?thinking team. We are an independent practice rooted in genuine patient care, exceptional client communication, and a supportive team culture. This role can be full or part time and includes a Saturday rota. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to animals, supporting team members, and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Duties
Delivering high-quality nursing care to inpatients and day patients
Assisting Vets in consultations, diagnostics and surgery
Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting patients in recovery
Running nurse clinics and supporting preventative healthcare
Administering treatments and maintaining accurate clinical records
Providing clear, compassionate communication to clients
Working as part of a supportive, collaborative team
Deliver high?quality inpatient, surgical, and general nursing care
Build strong, trusting relationships with clients
Contribute to a positive, supportive practice culture
Requirements
Prior experience working in a veterinary setting is essential
Laboratory experience is highly desirable to assist with diagnostic procedures
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the practice
Someone who thrives in a collaborative, team?centred environment
A confident communicator who enjoys client interaction
A RVN who takes pride in delivering excellent patient care
