We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Hinckley Roston Drive practice.


Hinckley Roston Drive is a silver standard cat friendly clinic with a separate cat waiting area and separate cat and dog wards, plus an isolation facility. The practice offers a wide range of services as well as truly exceptional patient and client care.



Hinckley is a lovely market town in southwest Leicestershire, the town is situated midpoint between the bustling cities of Leicester and Coventry with fantastic commuter routes onto the major motorway networks. Hinckley Town Centre offers an excellent variety of shops, independent cafes and restaurants.


The role is full time, working 40 hours per week with 1 in 6 weekends at Leamington Spa 24 Hour.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:

Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team. Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients. Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity. Lead, manage and promote nurse led appointments and Schedule 3 surgeries. Deliver patient monitoring and care. Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team. Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care. Dispense and check medication. Deliver professional excellence, implementing and complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards. Inspire your team, sharing new or evolving practice standards and changes to processes. Engage, coach and develop your team. Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice across practices and the wider Medivet community.

Your Skills and Experience

RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse. Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care. Able to confidently lead a clinical team. Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture through nurse clinics and nurse consultations. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
