We opened Ravensdale Vets in August 2024 as the third practice in our fiercely independent group. Staveley Vets & Shirebrook Vets were opened in 2019 & 2020 respectively and are well respected within their communities. We focus on patient care, client value and we work to a high standard. Our clientele are friendly and loyal- the small few who are unpleasant to our team are promptly deregistered!
Ravensdale Vets is lead by our Clinical Director, Sabrina, an experienced vet who opened the practice to provide high quality, affordable pet care to the people of Mansfield. We have a fully refurbished clinic with high quality equipment: IFSM gold spec kennels, ultrasound, standard & dental x-ray etc. Sabrina is undertaking a surgical certificate and has additional ultrasound training so there are regularly interesting surgical and medical work-ups.
As we are a small practice, at present, we require a 5-day working week for full time (part time applicants are welcome), as the team grows this will reduce to 4-days in line with our other practices.
The salary is 26,500-31,000 and there is additional remuneration for OOH cases- the current OOH requirement is about 1:12 weeknights and 1:12 weekends. All OOH work is undertaken at our Staveley practice (S43 3TR).
VDS, RCVS and professional memberships covered plus a 500 annual CPD budget- this is highly flexible and can be increased for courses beneficial to both the practice and your professional growth.
We are a nurse training practice for Bottle Green Training and currently have 5 SVNs within our current practices. Clinical coaching is encouraged and funded on a per-student basis.
