We have a fantastic opportunity for an RVN to join our well-established hospital site on West Road, a 100% small animal practice in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We are a progressive and friendly practice, and we're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate nurse to complement our supportive team.

About us:

Our 15-site practice has been taking care of pets across the North East since 1975. We have branches across Tyne and Wear, Durham and Northumberland which are supported by our Tier 3 RCVS hospital. This facility boasts a highly skilled team, excellent operating and in house facilities plus a separate dedicated feline unit which has received gold standard cat friendly clinic status.

The Role:

Full-time (40 hours per week) - with flexibility required to cover all shifts including nights and branches We offer a 4-day week (unpaid lunch) - 10 hr shifts Rotating shift pattern: Week 1 - 7.30am -6.00pm, Week 2 - 9.00am - 7.30pm Weekend work (currently 1 in 6 Saturdays and 1 in 8 Sundays). This may change on business need

Salary - 27,768 - 28,745 depending on experience

The successful candidate will:

Act as a

Clinical Coach

, supporting and mentoring student nurses. Demonstrate an interest in

Computed Tomography (CT)

and

Orthopaedics
