Valentine's are a friendly, first opinion, 2 site practice with a relaxed working environment and are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. We had a complete renovation to our main site in 2024 and now boast a fabulous new design for our clinic there.

The Role:

Salary up to 32,000 pro rata - dependent upon experience & responsibilities Full or part-time positions considered for work-life balance No OOHs Saturday 8.45am - 1.00pm on a flexible rota


We are looking for a relatively experienced, progressive, and friendly Veterinary Nurse, who can communicate well with both our team and valued clients. We value the opinions of our whole team, and the right candidate will have the desire to be involved in our development and growth.

About us:

We're a friendly, well-established veterinary practice with locations in Castleton and Middleton, Greater Manchester. Both are just off the M62/M60 motorway network, offering excellent transport links. The railway station is just a 5-minute walk from our Castleton practice, and trains to Manchester take only 14 minutes.


Our client base is loyal and longstanding because Valentine's have an excellent reputation that has been largely built on recommendations. Equipment and facilities, including x-ray, laboratory, ultrasound and dental, are on site and we have established relationships with a large range of local referral practices when required.


We are always looking to move the practice forward and have exciting plans for the future.

Our supportive and comprehensive team structure includes a Clinical Director, 4 Vets, 4 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 3 ACAs, 3 Receptionists & a Practice Manager.


We also ensure a great work-life balance and team spirit by organising fun social events throughout the year, such as trips to Alton Towers & our annual Christmas party.
