Seafront Vet Clinic is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our independent veterinary practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing personalised care for our animal patients and their owners, guided by our veterinary surgeons. Our advanced in diagnostic practice includes: In house Idexx lab, digital Xray, operating theatre, multiparameter monitor, electrosurgery unit and more.
Duties
Assisting veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries with preparation and post-operative care
Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting with diagnostic procedures such as X-rays and laboratory tests
Providing nursing care including wound management, patient monitoring, and maintaining accurate medical records
Supporting clients with advice on animal health, nutrition, and post-treatment care instructions
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment
Answering phonecalls when reception is busy, managing practice management system ( PMS)
Qualifications
Previous veterinary experience is essential;
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Compassionate approach towards animals and their owners
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and clients
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Pay: 23,000.00-28,000.00 per year
