We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our veterinary practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and clients alike.
This is a full time position but part time may be considered for the right candidate. Salary DOE and is based on full time hours.
Four full days and one in 4 saturday mornings.
No OOH or on call duties.
RCVS and VDS cover fully funded.
Responsibilities
Assisting veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments
Administering medications and vaccinations as prescribed
Monitoring anaesthetic and post-operative recovery of animals
Providing pre- and post-operative care to patients
Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
Supporting laboratory procedures, including sample collection and analysis
Ensuring cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment
Communicating effectively with pet owners regarding care instructions and treatment plans
Requirements
Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in animal welfare
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills, capable of liaising professionally with clients and colleagues
Flexibility to adapt to varying workload demands and shifts
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to 33,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
