Registered Veterinary Nurse

We have a fantastic opportunity for a registered veterinary nurse to join our team at Southill Vets on a full or part time basis.

We are an independent small animal, tier 2 practice with 4 branches on the Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire borders and are very proud of our dedicated nurses and the incredible work they carry out within the practice. With no two days being the same within our busy practice, this role involves a variety of duties such as assisting in the daily running of all routine as well as emergency operations/consultations, running nurse clinics and dispensing medications/prescriptions, all allowing our nurses to do what they are trained to do.

As we provide our clients and patients with 24 hour care, there will be opportunities to work additional hours over and above your contracted hours, for which a generous salary enhancement is paid. Salary is dependant on skills and experience.

The successful candidates must have the ability to independently travel between our three main surgeries of Wincanton, Gillingham and Milborne Port on either a permanent or ad hoc basis.
