As a Regulatory Assurance VP, you'll lead independent reviews of prudential regulatory calculations and external reporting, with a focus on capital and risk-weighted assets, leverage and large exposures under CRR and Basel frameworks. You'll take ownership of assurance cycles from start to finish--confidently challenging regulatory outputs, assessing compliance, and formulating clear conclusions and recommendations. Your work will directly support senior governance forums, helping to shape decision-making and drive improvements in the bank's regulatory assurance landscape.
You'll work closely with production teams and risk owners to agree remediation actions, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and sustainably. You'll also play a key role in enhancing assurance methodologies, refining documentation, and embedding best practices across the function. This is a high-impact role where your technical expertise and ability to influence will help strengthen the bank's regulatory control environment and deliver meaningful change.
To be considered for this role you will be an experienced regulatory reporting expert with a background in assurance of Basel related calculations and reporting (CRR/PRA rulebook). You must be able to lead regulatory assurance assignments within key deadlines working effectively with multiple stakeholders across the bank including interfacing with senior governance committees. Experience within a S166 skilled person review or any regulatory assurance assignments would be ideal. Provide regular SME support to the wider team across London and India and keep up to date with regulatory updates.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
