rehabilitation

We are looking to recruit

passionate & enthusiastic

support workers to join Team Steps and become part of what we believe to be, something incredibly

rewarding and person centred.



This role is based just outside of

Southampton

and surrounding areas and a variety of hours are available on a full time and part time basis,

FULL client specific training will be provided to all support workers as this is a complex care package.



The client is a woman with an

acquired brain injury

. This client requires support with her

catheter care

. She has a rigorous

rehabilitation programme

including

hydrotherapy

which her assistants would be a part of. She loves pamper sessions, travelling abroad and around the UK, going to gigs and events and getting out in the community with her assistants.

Please note: this client prefers female rehabilitation assistants.

13.91 - 19.00 per hour (enhancements for weekends and bank holidays)

Hours Available:



We have a range of hours available, 12 hour shifts made up of 1 x day shift a week and 2 x waking night shifts a week



Available shifts - 36 hours per week:



Tuesday 2000 - 0800 (waking night)

Wednesday 2000 - 0800 (waking night)

Friday 0800 - 2000

Responsibilities will include:



Arranging & support to attend appointments

.Personal care

Administering medication, catheter care, and feeding

Support accessing the community

Requirements for the position:



The chosen individuals will be enthusiastic, reliable and self - motivated. Six months health and social care experience is preferable, however, transferrable skills and personal experience will be considered.
