Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people? Do you have We are looking a hands on approach to support five children in this busy residential home? If so, we are looking for Children's Workers to join our Children's Residential Service in East Dunbartonshire on a releif basis.


In this rewarding role, you'll work closely with children, young people, and their families, ensuring their needs are met with compassion, professionalism, and in line with the standards of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and our Christian values.


You will help support and develop care plans in partnership with families and other agencies, promote positive relationships and inclusion, and contribute to the emotional and social well-being of the children and young people in your care. As this is a relief position, you'll have the flexibility to work around your other commitments while making a meaningful impact.


To succeed, you should have experience in care or education, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people. An HNC in Social Care or SVQ Level 3 is required, though we welcome applications from those willing to work towards a qualification. A full manual driving licence is also essential.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
