Primary Purpose of the Role:
As a Repairs Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our properties, with a particular focus on reports of damp and mould. Working alongside another Repairs Administrator. You'll ensure repairs are handled efficiently, and are completed on time, working closely with our property maintenance helpdesk team, Your efforts will directly contribute to providing safe and secure housing for those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate Repairs:
Liaise with teams and partners to ensure timely completion of repairs with a specific focus of damp and mould cases.
Track Progress:
Maintain detailed records and monitor damp and mould cases on the housing system.
Problem Solve:
Identify delays, resolve issues proactively, and escalate unresolved cases.
Arrange Surveys:
Organize surveyor visits for complex repairs and damp assessments.
Improve Processes:
Suggest and implement improvements to reduce repair times.
Performance Driven:
Meet individual and team targets through focused effort.
Policy Adherence:
Follow safeguarding, data protection, and health & safety procedures consistently.
Professional Collaboration:
Represent Nacro positively and work effectively within teams.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Experience in property management, including repairs (training provided).
Strong administrative background.
Basic knowledge of property maintenance (training provided).
Clear communicator, confident liaising with contractors and agencies.
Able to work independently and manage priorities under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with attention to detail.
