Job Description

SNG (Sovereign Network Group) is one of the largest housing associations in England. We provide over 85,000 homes and invest in communities across the South, West and East of England, including London, as well as creating thousands of new affordable homes every year.
We're looking for a Research Analyst to join our team in Basingstoke.
You'll be responsible for scoping and delivering research projects that help us better understand our customers and the external factors influencing their ability to thrive in their communities. Your work will directly contribute to improving business efficiencies and enhancing SNG customer experience.
This is a hybrid working role working from home and in the office 2 days per week.
What You'll Do

  • Undertake complex analysis using internal and external data to create actionable insights into customers, assets, and services.
  • Deliver research outputs that drive business value and are evidence-based and auditable.
  • Present findings using Power BI and creative storytelling techniques to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external research partners to align priorities and share insights.
  • Stay informed on sector trends and emerging research methodologies to keep SNG at the forefront of innovation.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience producing high-quality research.
  • Ability to explain complex findings clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Solid knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research techniques, including research design and data analysis.
  • Experience working in a research capacity and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and data analysis tools.
