Burton Addiction and O'Connor Centres (BAC) is an award winning organisation which offers support to individuals with drug and alcohol problems in a range of settings including detoxification and residential rehabilitation, recovery housing, social enterprises and community based therapeutic services.
We deliver part of the drug and alcohol recovery service in Wigan and Leigh. This is such an exciting time to join our team as we continue to expand our current recovery community rehab and prehab model services with Wigan and Leigh.

The successful person in this role will ensure support is provided to residents in our recovery house to enable them to develop and enhance independent living skills and reintegrate back into the community, following an abstinence based rehabilitation programme from alcohol and/or drug dependency.
We are looking for someone who
Can work with other teams to ensure that our services are fully coordinated and working towards the achievement of recovery goals and positive outcomes for each individual resident, empowering them to take responsibility through promoting choice and independence.
Can produced individual care plans supporting our residents to have meaningful structure in their lives
Supports our residents with managing a home, finances and budgeting skills.
Has experience in ensuring residents have appropriate welfare benefits
If you have experience in
Providing a range of recovery-orientated and evidence-based interventions both in a 1:1 and group-work setting
Safeguarding processes - both children, young people and adults.
Care plan formation
Working collaboratively with co-workers, colleagues in other agencies, and external services to facilitate positive recovery outcomes for service users.
