Responsibilities



As a Residential Childcare Worker, your role is to assist the home's management team in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose and uphold the organisation's mission statement and values. To support and assist in the delivery of dynamic care, to meet the changing needs of the children and young people, and to support in the completing of day to day tasks and delivery of practice across the home.

You will undertake direct work with the children and young people as appropriate, taking an active role in reviewing case files, updating plans and supporting professional reviewing meetings, advocating support for the child where necessary.

Qualifications/skills



Level 3 in Children & Young People Strong communication skills Proven experience working with children in a residential setting Ability to develop and implement care plans Valid driving license and willingness to drive as needed Background in childcare and related fields Proficiency in IT for documentation and reporting purposes

Pay: 12.21-13.10 per hour
