Changing Generations

is an Ofsted-registered Residential Family Centre providing high-quality assessment and support to vulnerable parents and their children. We work closely with Local Authorities across London and the Home Counties to deliver robust, evidence-based parenting assessments and help families move toward independence.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated

Registered Manager

to lead our centre(s), ensuring excellent care, strong leadership, and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities



Lead the day-to-day running of the centre(s) in line with the Statement of Purpose. Ensure robust, fair, and evidence-based parenting assessments. Manage, supervise, and develop staff; oversee recruitment, rotas, training, and performance. Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, and all regulatory requirements. Manage budgets and resources effectively. Maintain high-quality record keeping and reporting. Build strong working relationships with families, staff, and external agencies. Participate in the on-call rota and ensure safe staffing at all times.

Requirements



Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare)

or willingness to work towards it.

4+ years' experience

in residential care, including

2+ years in management

(Ofsted-regulated environment preferred). Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child and family welfare, and relevant legislation (Care Standards Act, Residential Family Centres Regulations, NMS, SCCIF). Experience as or working alongside a Designated Safeguarding Lead. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to work flexibly, including unsocial hours. Enhanced DBS check required.

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
