An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales & marketing leader to join our ambitious team at Eastleigh Borough Council.
The Role
This strategic role will oversee the marketing, sales, and lettings of open market, private rental, and shared ownership homes. You will be instrumental in achieving commercial targets and enhancing the Council's visibility and reputation through comprehensive marketing efforts.
Working closely with the Head of Communications & Marketing, you will develop and implement successful marketing strategies, manage the sales and marketing teams, and ensure the effective execution of campaigns. You will also be responsible for driving customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement dynamic and competitive sales strategies to market and dispose of housing stock on a commercial basis.
- Customer Focus: Create, develop, and promote awareness of unique branding opportunities for the Council's residential projects, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
- Market Insights: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes to adapt marketing strategies effectively.
- Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources within the sales and marketing teams, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Financial Oversight: Manage sales and marketing budgets and spend, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
- Comprehensive Campaigns: Formulate and implement marketing strategies that align with the Council's goals and housing aspirations, incorporating both digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management to guide strategy and decision-making.
- Brand Ambassador: Act as the Brand Ambassador for Eastbrooke Homes, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing materials and platforms.
About You:
We are looking for a strategic leader with extensive experience in new homes sales and marketing, particularly at a senior level for a regional or national builder or housing association. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering against targets, managing marketing campaigns, and leading a sales team.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Extensive Experience: Relevant degree-level education or extensive experience in new homes sales and marketing.
- Financial Acumen: Demonstrable financial management and commercial experience.
- Leadership Skills: Proven record of leading and developing successful sales and marketing teams.
- Organizational Excellence: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Technological Proficiency: Experience in using CRM systems and innovative technologies to maximize off-plan sales and customer reach.
