Serenity Springs Ltd is seeking compassionate and dedicated Children's Residential Support Workers to join our team in Corby, Northamptonshire. In this important role, you will provide vital care and support to children and young people, helping them achieve personal goals and develop essential life skills. Your efforts will make a meaningful impact, promoting independence, well-being, and long-term positive outcomes.

We are specifically looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting children aged 8 to 17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping these children build strong, positive relationships, improve their life skills, and work through past challenges, all within a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities



Assist children with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. Implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs. Provide emotional support and encouragement to children, promoting their confidence and independence. Maintain clear and effective communication with children, families, and other professionals involved in the care process. Document progress and any changes in behaviour or circumstances accurately. Collaborate with team members to enhance the quality of care provided. Drive children to various appointments or activities as required. Utilise IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes. Full UK driving licence preferred. Understanding of safeguarding practices, whistleblowing policies, and Ofsted regulations.

Requirements



At least 6 months' experience working in a residential care setting with children NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and families. Ability to develop and implement care plans based on individual needs. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as needed. Proficiency in IT for documentation and communication purposes. A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to make a difference in children's lives.
