We are looking for a dedicated
Residential Therapist
to join our team and help transform lives.
Your Role
=============
As a Residential Therapist, you will play a vital part in supporting the emotional and mental wellbeing of children and young people living in our homes. You will:
Provide
1:1 and group therapeutic interventions
Identify emotional and mental health needs through assessment
Deliver a range of
creative, person-centered and solution-focused therapeutic approach
Support residential staff teams through guidance, reflective discussion and mental health workshops
Work collaboratively across agencies to achieve the best outcomes
Contribute to service development and ensure practice aligns with safeguarding, Ofsted and CANW standards

Essential Qualifications (Level 3+ in at least one):
Counselling Skills
CBT
Play Therapy
Psychology
CYP IAPT (Children & Young Peoples Wellbeing Practitioner or Education & Mental Health Practitioner)

Essential Experience:
Therapeutic work with children and young people
Working with or supporting staff teams
1:1 therapeutic interventions
Multi-agency partnership working
Strong assessment and decision-making skills

Essential Knowledge & Skills:
Safeguarding
Child/adolescent development
Outcomes monitoring
Knowledge of childcare legislative frameworks
Strong communication and ICT skills

Additional Requirements:
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends
Full UK driving licence and access to transport is essential
