Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.
- Manage inventory and ordering to ensure adequate supplies and minimise waste.
- Train and develop staff members to provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the management team & Directors to develop and implement strategies for improving restaurant performance monitoring financial performance of the restaurant
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant management role is required preferably in a fine dining restaurant & with small independent restaurants
- Strong knowledge of fine dining customer service & guest experience.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, develop and inspire a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on providing an outstanding dining experience.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Collaboration and ability to work with other department heads collaboratively to ensure everyone is working together to be the best we can be for our guests and our team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
