RESTAURANT MANAGER

FULL TIME / PART TIME FRONT OF HOUSE

STAFF REQUIRED (STARTING DATE: AUGUST / SEPTEMBER 2025 - TWO STAGE TRAINING / LICENSING)

JOB SPECIFICATION

Izakaya Japanese Bar are looking for experienced front of house restaurant manager to join our team.

We are looking for like minded individuals with a passion for the service industry. An excellent manager with inter-personal skill to take us to the next level.

Flexible hours with the ability to work and manage multiple locations.

We are a independent restaurant who specializes in high-quality, fresh food based on a unique combination of tradition Japanese small plates, sushi and rice / noodle dishes. You will play a vital role in helping to welcome, serve and managing the bookings. (extra training will be provided).
Expect to demonstrate your skill in customer service and ability to work under a fast past environment during a trial shift.

We are looking for friendly individuals with exceptional talent who work independently and as part of a team.

Roles

1 x Full Time Front of House Manager (35-42+ Hrs/pw)

1 x PartTime Front of House Assistant Manager (20+ Hrs/pw)

The ideal candidate must have :

- At least 1-2 years' previous experience in restaurant industry

- Ability to lead and manage a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays and adhoc evenings

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards

- Knowledge in computer systems and software such as POS systems

- Good understanding of social media marketing and social trends

- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service

- Be punctual and attentive

Pay depends on experience.

You must already be in and able to work in the UK with no restrictions. Visa sponsorship for the right candidate with high level of experience.
