We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our brand new restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality , with excellent leadership skills to manage a diverse team. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food quality, and fostering a positive work environment. Working with The Head Chef, Retail Manager and General Manager you will help us deliver an outstanding customer experience in our newly opened venue.
Responsibilities
Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food preparation.
Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding hospitality and maintain a cohesive team environment.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring all guests have a positive dining experience.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative menu items that reflect local ingredients and tell the story of where great food comes from.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as licensing laws.
Skills
Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers alike.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A solid understanding of restaurant operations, including barista best practices.
Previous experience in cafe or restaurant management is highly desirable.
A passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
