Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Excellent guest services skills with a focus on hospitality. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Effective time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy periods. Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
