We are seeking a friendly and professional Server (languages- Tamil and English) to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous, but a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential. The successful applicant will be organised, efficient, and passionate about providing outstanding guest services.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Ensure guests' needs are met throughout their visit, providing attentive guest services Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and surrounding areas Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as required, demonstrating culinary awareness Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills Handle payments accurately and provide receipts to guests

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Excellent time management skills to serve multiple guests simultaneously Guest service orientation with a positive attitude towards teamwork Willingness to learn about menu offerings and upselling techniques
