Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities Clear tables efficiently and assist with setting up for subsequent service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas in compliance with food safety standards Handle guest enquiries courteously, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Assist in food preparation or other kitchen duties as required, adhering to health and safety regulations

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are desirable Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests Basic maths skills for processing payments accurately Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
