What you\'ll be doing

Role Purpose

To find the right balance between volume, price, mix/newness and trade investment to maximise revenue and profit growth. Deliver through effective range and price management via fact-based insight and create efficient solutions to deliver distinctive and repeatable Greencore way of working

Key Accountabilities

  • Optimise our internal pricing strategies to maximise mix profitability to improve margins
  • Linking to internal pricing, review the external price pack architecture to drive customer and end-to-end profitability
  • Managing mix to drive joint profitability
  • Assess price elasticity based on market and insight factors to input into the demand plan and underpin pricing recommendations

  • Create a suite of best practice terms/trade investment architectures to maximise joint profitability
  • Lead monthly and ad hoc working groups to analyse and manage performance against pre-defined key performance indicators
  • Partner with sales, marketing, commercial and finance teams to drive a positive working relationship and support
What we\'re looking for

You\'ll ideally have numerical/modelling ability allied to a commercial / category background.
  • Experience building relationships and ability to drive change and resolve challenges effectively Experience of success in a senior revenue generation or management role in a FMCG business
  • Experience and knowledge of market dynamics including pricing theories
  • Knowledge and understanding of micro and macro-economic impacts on pricing of and demand for consumer goods
  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret results into realistic plans Interpersonal and influencing skills with experience of adapting style for customer interactions and internal colleagues at all levels
