We provide expert Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Specialist Care to Adults in our Home. We aim to help each individual we support to live fulfilled, healthy, and happy lives.

Right now, we're looking for an enthusiastic and committed RGN to join the team at our care home in Cockett in Swansea.

As part of our RGN Nursing Team, you will support our Clinical Lead in the clinical care of Individuals.

You will support our Care Team in delivering the highest standard of quality care and support. With the support of the Senior Healthcare Assistants, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring the Care Team during your shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Creating, managing, and implementing allocated Care Plans and assessments in a person-centered way Taking observations Administering and managing medication Working closely with the Community Teams to provide personalized Nursing, Health, and Social Care support The maintenance of skin integrity and wound care Providing palliative and end-of-life Nursing care Taking charge of the shift with the support of the Clinical Lead Nurse, Care, and Leadership Teams Following Wales Safeguarding Procedures Maintaining a safe and healthy environment Promoting organisational Policy and best practice Developing your knowledge and practice, maintaining your CPD with the support of the Learning and Development Officer
Skills and Attitudes:

Ability to use own initiative and problem-solving

Leadership

Evidence of CPD

Positive attitude and outlook

Attention to detail

Experience in administering medication in a Care Home environment

Excellent verbal and written communication

Great team player

Welsh language skills are an advantage

Teamwork

Patience, empathy, and understanding
