Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Roadie to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting live concerts by ensuring that all equipment and materials are transported safely and efficiently. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist in the loading and unloading of equipment for shows, ensuring all items are handled with care. Set up and dismantle equipment at various venues, following safety protocols and guidelines. Communicate effectively with team members and event coordinators to ensure smooth operations. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients or attendees. Perform data entry tasks related to inventory management and event logistics. Purchase and transport drinks and man the bar. Upsell additional services or products when appropriate, enhancing the overall customer experience. Maintain a clean and organised work environment before, during, and after events.

Requirements

Large vehicle (e.g. an estate) with sufficient space for sound equipment and drinks. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to analyse situations quickly and make informed decisions under pressure. Previous experience in event support or logistics is an advantage but not mandatory. Must be physically fit as the role involves lifting heavy equipment and standing for extended periods. A valid driver's licence. Experience with live sound would be a standout addition.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 14 per week
