About the role

We'd love for you to join our fun and friendly team of tutors! We are looking for a Romanian tutor based in Norwood, Dulwich, Sydenham, Crystal Palace (or surrounding areas) for one of the vacant roles that we have in Norwood (the student has an SE21 postcode). The student is 5 years old and the tutor will be paid 20 per hour to teach the student Romanian so that they can better communicate with family members .

ELIGIBILITY:

The tutor must live within

Norwood, Dulwich, Sydenham, Crystal Palace

(or surrounding areas),

the right candidate will live no more than 35-40 minutes away

from

SE21 where the student(s) reside.

(REQUIRED) MUST have some professional experience working with children/young people e.g. teaching assistants, teachers, chilcare practitoners or nannies etc. (REQUIRED) MUST be available weekly for a 1 hour face to face tutoring sessions weekly (REQUIRED) MUST be able to speak Romanian MUST be able to access a printer as and when necessary- resources are provided however tutors are expected to print from time to time (REQUIRED) A formal qualification in Romanian or a Romanian native is desirable.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 tutoring sessions in students' homes, focusing on their individual learning needs and goals. Build relationships and rapport with students Make sessions fun and interactive Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary. Encourage and motivate students to build confidence in their academic abilities
