Key Objectives:



To be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, including leading and overseeing the roofing team. Ensure high quality installations, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with other trades to deliver projects on time and within budget.



Responsibilities:


Plan and schedule roofing tasks in alignment with overall modular construction timelines. Ensure all roofing work complies with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Train and mentor roofing staff, promoting skill development and safety awareness. Monitor inventory of roofing materials and tools; coordinate procurement as needed. Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow. Maintain accurate records of work progress, incidents, and material usage. Maintain a positive work environment and motivation of staff to achieve targets and ensure high health and safety standards including working at heights and PPE compliance

Key Skills Required:


Proven experience as a roofer, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong knowledge of modular construction methods and roofing systems (e.g., flat roofs, pitched roofs, membrane systems). Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Good understanding of health and safety procedures Valid certifications in working at heights, first aid, and site safety (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS in the UK). Full UK driving licence (if travel between sites is required).
